Whether as an introduction, or for those of you
reminiscing, "Stirred" was the debut performance of Mr. Martinini as
master of ceremonies. A live twenty-piece marching band
accompanied by an Inventive Design adaptation of a creation myth
soaked in alcohol, climaxing at Bambi's homoerotic conception.
This one-night stand, full-length piece packed the house at the
little French bistro way past its fire-code standards, with people
standing on the bar to catch a glimpse. It was raw cabaret,
ever-young, as each generation destroys itself to keep it up.
