No Exit, Hell is Other Artists was another dragging rendition of the much re-visited play by existentialist writer Jean-Paul Sartre. But this time, hell is not a drawing room, but a Williamsburg Bar! Performed unfortunately twice, first at Galapagos Art Space, and then with an encore performance at Zebulon Bar, this play spoke to the hipster art scene phenomenon known as Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Three generations of white-male artists struggle to communicate, accompanied and tortured by a never-ending score of Morrissey. Hey! Their eyes are boobs!
